Apostrophe
As part of a large family, Apostrophe strives to win her mother’s attention and approval. She has only succeeded in pleasing her mother once, when at a holiday camp on the shores of the Styx she won a “sexy appendage” competition and was awarded the title of “neatest pair of ankles this side of Dis.”
She is also a bit limited in the friend department, being a six-foot horned creature that Should Not Be, with backwards-facing knees. Her hobbies include modding the infernal machinery that is her equivalent of a computer, and watching romantic comedies.
Coma
Created at some point in the past couple of centuries as a companion for Apostrophe, Coma is almost purely composed of id. He requires coal to stoke the furnace which powers his complex internal machinery, but if deprived of this he can run for up to an hour on sheer malice. Coma is a self-serving, greedy sadist. He sometimes displays a modicum of affection for Apostrophe, but whether this is genuine or tactical remains to be seen.
