Apostrophe & Coma

Apostrophe (pronounced to rhyme with stroganoff, not catastrophe, unless you're French) a moderately supernatural but determinedly logical young lady, and Coma, her coal-, hoodoo- and hatred- powered companion, are the main characters in this eponymous comic.

Lovingly hand-photocopied in excitingly edgy blank and white, the comic centres around Apostrophe's efforts to become successful in this mad world, and is published occasionally. It can be found in PDF format on this very site, or in gritty urban A4 paper in comic shops in London.

Scary Boots is a depressingly natural young lady living in London. She has recently graduated university with a degree in Physics, and is working on getting paid for something. While at uni she drew cartoons for this award-winning rag and wrote articles for this amusing journal. Here non-sequential and other artwork can be found here. She first decided to make a comic type thing when she was given 'Making Comics' by Scott McCloud by her lovely Canis. This took some time, but here it is.
